Meet Florence

Let me introduce you to the new Chalk Paint (TM) by Annie Sloan color "Florence." We are so excited about this gorgeous color! Annie Sloan describes it well on her website: "This is inspired by the colours of the copper green mineral and semi-precious stone, malachite, and from the same family of stones as azurite and turquoise. In the 17th and 18th century it was used as a colour made with verdigris but as it is a very fugitive colour turning black with time so we are not aware of how it was used on woodwork in many houses. It is a classical colour found in classical Italian furniture."

We are taking enrollment for our upcoming paint classes. Friday June 29th from 12:00-4:00 we have 2 openings available. Tuesday July 17th from 12:00-4:00 we have 3 openings available. Off to Play

We were able to close up shop and go to Nashville to play with some great new paint that we are carrying. It is Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. If you haven't heard of it yet, come ask us!!! We attended the Annie Sloan American tour. It was so amazing to be able to go to her demonstration and watch and hear all of her creativity flowing out as she taught us. We then attended a Hands-On Workshop and got our fingers in the paint. We learned four different techniques, actually five if you count our bonus stenciling! There is so much that you can do with this paint. It is AMAZING!!!!! All of us were talking about what all pieces we would want to paint when we got home. It was such an inspiring trip. We are now an official Stockist of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. We have all the paint, wax, brushes and books you need to get started on your painting project. Come in and ask about the paint and any of us would be glad to help you get started. We are actually offering classes at the shop now too. Ask us about those also!
